The visual artist Rogelio López Cuenca and the University of Granada Professor José Miguel Puerta Vílchez will dialogue during the speech on how Al-Andalus has been represented in Spain recent History and how it is being done at present.

This dictionary release by its author, Ahmed Sabir, Professor at Agadir University, who will also talk about multilingualism in Morocco and Amazigh language current situation.

Casa Árabe organizes the release of Patricia Almarcegui’s lastest novel on Wednesday 30th November in Madrid and Thursday 1st December in Córdoba.

From November 8th to 29th, Casa Árabe will show in Málaga four contemporary Arab films: Bab'Aziz - The Prince Who Contemplated His Soul, by Nacer Khemir; The Yacoubian Building, by Marwan Hamed; The Secret of the Grain, by Abdellatif Kechiche; and Caramel, by Nadine Labaki.

From 4th to 28th November, Casa Árabe exhibits the season of the New Lebanese Cinema: the New Memory, organized by Alberto Elena.

Casa Árabe organizes this course coordinated by Alberto Elena. It will be a four session season, each of which will be based on a showing and a lecture by an expert.

From November 14th to 25th, Casa Árabe organizes in Cordoba an introduction course to Arabic calligraphy for adults.

On Monday 21st November, Casa Árabe will host in Madrid the workshop "Economic Priorities after the Arab Spring: Reform and Economic Policy in Transitional Operations" where a group of experts will analyse different features and areas which in the economy sector must be specially taken care of in those countries’ new political agendas.
