Casa Árabe has organized this theatrical performance as part of the “Ellas Crean” festival. It is a monologue on foods and cooking performed by actress Farah Hamed, winner of the award for Best Performance at the Fourteenth “Mariana Pineda” Theater for Equality Awards. Tickets are now for sale online.

Amal (Farah Hamed) is a chef at a Moroccan restaurant called “Mediterráneo,” and she shows us how to cook a tagine according to the recipe taught to her by her grandmother. While she cooks, in the purest style of Scheherazade, she gradually wraps us up in her personal tale. Her kitchen is like a welcoming bay in the Mediterranean, where you can hear the sounds of music, dancing, stories, poems and songs from all of the cultures whose shores are bathed by its waters. Amal loves meeting with people and sharing her experiences and dishes...
