Last chance in Madrid to assist to this oral storytelling show for grown-ups, which gives us a closer look at some of the most famous stories in the Arab and Persian storytelling tradition.

At the same time as anonymous storytellers composed, without realizing it, The Arabian Nights, Persian poet Nezami Ganyavi transcribed into the Arab empire the story of Turandot, a Persian princess. Like all stories that are interwoven into the mesh of stories that make up the Arab and Islamic world, artist Héctor Urién unties some of the Eastern threads so that we can understand it all better: the importance of names, the enigmas, the fortresses ruled by a single word... All of these tales are a puzzle that has yet to be solved, like every life, like every audience.

This show was planned on the occasion of the presentation of the opera Turandot by Giacomo Puccini at the Teatro Real in Madrid, to be held from November 30 through December 30, 2018.
