“Intellectual Connections between Jazirat al-‘Arab and Jazirat al-Andalus”
From January 23, 2023 until January 30, 2023
Casa Árabe is publishing this monograph, based on the fifty-fourth IASA Arab Studies Seminar held from July 2 to 11, 2021. The sessions in the seminar were devoted to presenting the latest research carried out on the Arabian Peninsula and associated areas.
This special volume, edited by J.C. Carvajal López and Maribel Fierro, presents the contents and conclusions of the special sessions held during the seminar.
The International Association for the Study of Arabia (IASA) was created to promote research related to the Arabian Peninsula and, in particular, its archeology, history, inscriptions, languages, literature, art, culture, ethnography, geography, geology and natural history. It carries out this work by awarding research grants, producing its own publications, disseminating news about the latest research and events related to Arabia, and organizing conferences, in particular the yearly Arab Studies Seminar.
