Dramatized tours of Casa Mudéjar

We invite you to come see our headquarters in Cordoba alongside one of
the families who once lived there. The first tour will be given on April
21, and it is free of charge. Sign up now!
Casa Árabe’s headquarters in Cordoba has traditionally been known as the “Casa Mudéjar” due to some of the decorative features that can still be found inside the building. Like many homes in the surrounding area, it has undergone many renovations and expansions, creating a sometimes maze-like space.
The purpose of these tours is to learn more about the history of this “Casa” through its different rooms. During the tour, you will get to know the house’s caretakers, who will also tell you about how these manorial homes used to be organized. A hidden gem in the heart of our city that is, nevertheless, one of the essential landmarks in the city of Cordoba’s building heritage sites.

SextoMario is made up of professionals who have earned university degrees in Art History, History and Archeology. They possess excellent backgrounds with training on the history and archeology of Cordoba. In addition to this, they have extensive teaching experience, which allows them to offer wide-ranging information about our historical and archeological past. They have a vocation for teaching history in a fun and entertaining way, without failing to express the fundamental contents that shape our values and our culture.

From May 2 to 14, Casa Árabe will be opening its courtyard doors to the
public, its way of participating once again in this celebration,
considered a World Heritage event by UNESCO. We are extending our
opening hours from Monday to Friday and will be open on weekends.
