Islamic Representation and Leadership in Spain

On June 1st, this round table will take place in Madrid as the final event of the course "Islam and Muslims: historical perspective and contemporary dynamics", co-organized by Casa Árabe and the Diplomatic School.

Through the participation of different representatives from various Muslim entities, it will provide a reflection on the new structure of the Spanish Islamic Council as an interlocutor with the State.

Among the participants, Gema Martín Muñoz, Director General of Casa Árabe; José Manuel López Rodrigo, Foundation for Pluralism and Coexistence Director; Amparo Sánchez Rosell, Chairman of the Valencia Islamic Cultural Centre and member of the Spanish Islamic Council Board of Trustees; Mohamed Chaib Akhdim, Chairman of the Ibn Batuta Cultural Association and of the Federation of Catalan Cultural Entities of Moroccan Origin; and Mohamed Hamed Ali, Chairman of the Spanish Federation of Islamic Religious Entities of Spain (FEERI).

The event will take place at Casa Árabe’s Auditorium in Madrid (c/ Alcalá, 62), at 19.30. Free entrance.
