Learn Arabic at Casa Árabe in person or online, with an innovative method and the best educators teaching Arabic as a foreign language. Registration will last from March 1 through 20, for classes held from April 10 to July 2.

This spring, we will be hosting a whole new offering of courses to learn Arabic, both in person and online, for adults and children alike. Registration will be open from March 1 through 20, including both of those dates.

Classes will begin on April 10 and end on July 2. For the spring quarter, we will continue to offer all of the same courses for adults to learn Modern Standard Arabic and Arabic dialects (Moroccan Darija, Egyptian and Levantine), as well as conversation classes, both in person and online. We will also be giving Arabic courses to children between the ages of 3 to 12.

You can check the availability of different times and groups here.

The remote classes are held by video conferencing using the Teams platform, with texting, a virtual whiteboard and an online chat. You just need a computer that is hooked up to the Internet. For any group assignments and greater user satisfaction with this tool, we recommend sharing an email address with your classmates, which may be your personal email or an account created specifically for the classes.

Remember to register before all of the classes are full!
The groups will be closed when the maximum number of students is reached. Students will be assigned to courses in chronological order as their registration forms are received, and no students will be allowed to register after the deadline. You can also purchase textbooks with a 5% discount at Casa Árabe’s Balqis bookstore, where you can purchase online materials, as well.

You must complete your registration online. All students are given a user name and password to access their private online space, where they can track their registration status, look up student records and carry out other procedures. If you already have some knowledge of Arabic, please take our free online test to find out what course you should sign up for. Plus... all Language Center students get discounts on tickets to Casa Árabe movies, and at the Balqís Bookstore. If you are already a Language Center student, to avoid having to enter all of your personal information each quarter, you can retrieve your data by typing in the user name and password you used in previous quarters.

The courses consist of 30 hours per quarter, divided into 10 sessions lasting 3 hours per week (distributed across two days, one and a half hours per day, or in one intensive day, with three and a half hours, including a half-hour break), or 12 sessions lasting 2.5 hours (with no break, except for children’s Arabic classes, which including a short break to have a snack with the teachers, during which time the use of Arabic continues).

You can find all of the information on our courses (schedules, registration, etc.) in the Language Center section of Casa Árabe’s website.
