Casa Árabe, with the cooperation of TBA21 Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary, is hosting a series of conversations on art which will take the public on a dazzling journey through the idea of abundance as a vital principle for conservation and world construction. It will be held in Cordoba on Sunday 5 June.

Artistic and curatorial proposals will calibrate the scope and depth of watery narratives and atmospheric elements in reflections upon art, the meanings of kinship with non-humans and nature’s prolific performativity.

Taking part in the event are Marina Avia, Madison Bycroft, Seba Calfuqueo, Barbara Casavecchia, Laia Estruch, Soledad Gutiérrez, Sofia Lemos, Olaf Nicolai, Diana Policarpo, Markus Reymann, Daniel Steegmann Mangrané and Daniela Zyman.

The Foundation has made three proposals for the upcoming months: “Pasaje del Agua” (“The Journeying Stream”), “Meandering” and a program for the public’s increased awareness about the contents of its first exhibition in the capital city: “Futuros abundantes” (“Bountiful Futures”). As for the first, the entity chaired by Francesca Thyssen-Bornemisza (a renowned collector of avant-garde art) will be holding a series of events lasting from June 3 to 5, curated by Daniela Zyman and Sofia Lemos.
