March 1 to 28 is the registration period for our Arabic and dialect courses for adults and children.
This spring, we will continue to give our Arabic courses remotely so that you can learn Arabic from wherever you want. Classes will begin on April 9 and end on June 26.
This spring quarter, we will continue to offer our regular courses in Modern Standard Arabic and Arabic dialects (Moroccan Darija, Egyptian and Levantine Arabic), as well as conversation courses, and classes for children (from 8 to 12 years old).
Plus, we continue to offer our reduced rates for online courses. Because of the current situation, here at the Language Center, we would like to make the utmost effort so that the most people possible can enjoy studying Arabic with us.
As a result, our online courses will be given for just 180 euros per quarter (for each 30-hour course), for adults. And now our children’s courses (which also last 30 hours per month) will be given for 156 euros. Important note: when filling out the registration form, do notselect the discount rate, because online courses already have the discount calculated in.
Moreover, you can purchase textbooks with a 5% discount at Casa Árabe’s Balqís bookstore. And if you are unable to come pick them up, you can make your purchase online and have them sent to you at home FREE of charge (for shipments within the EU).
The classes are given in sessions of three hours per week (Mondays and Wednesdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, or Fridays) during our morning schedule (10:00 to 11:30 a.m.) or in the afternoon/evening (4:30, 5:30, 6:00 or 7:30 p.m.), as well as courses given on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
The classes are taught by video conference, using the Teams app, with a chat, virtual whiteboard and online conversation. You just need a computer that is connected to the Internet. For any group assignments and greater satisfaction in using this tool, we recommend sharing an email address with your classmates, which may be your personal email or an account created specifically for the classes.
You must complete your registration online. All students are given a user name and password to access their private online profile, where they can track their registration status, look at student records and carry out other procedures.
If you already have some knowledge of Arabic, please take our free online test to find out what level you should sign up for.
Remember to register before all our classes are full!
The groups will be closed when the maximum number of students is reached. Students will be assigned to courses in chronological order as their registration forms are received, and no students will be allowed to register after the deadline.
All Language Center students get discounts on tickets to Casa Árabe’s film screenings, and at the Balqís bookshop. If you are already a Language Center student, to avoid having to enter all of your personal information each quarter, you can retrieve your data by typing in the user name and password you used in previous quarters. If you have forgotten your user name, you may request it by sending us an e-mail message at (firstname.lastname@example.org). If you have forgotten your password, you have to reset it in your private student profile. Because this information is confidential, the Language Center is unable to provide it.
You can find all of the information on our courses (schedules, registration, etc.) in the Language Center section of the Casa Árabe website.
