From October 27 through November 24, Casa Árabe and the Asociación Arte
para la Vida (Art for Life Association) have organized a series of four
group creative experimentation workshops, a journey through works of art
by various Moroccan contemporary artists. See the information below and
reserve your place in order to participate.
The purpose of this series of events is to introduce the diverse range found in contemporary Moroccan art by showing a selection of artists and works, while promoting creative processes through various techniques of artistic creation, all from a multidisciplinary approach.
These are intended for all audiences (over the age of 12), but above all youths and vocational training centers (technical schools, art schools and high schools).
Content and methodology
The methodology is based on a variety of techniques for exploration and artistic experimentation as described below. Each workshop lasts three hours and has the following structure:
1.- Contextualization of artists and showing of their works
2.- Brief content on artistic technique
3.- Process of experimentation and creation
4.- Sharing of results

The workshops will be held on Fridays, October 27 and November 3, 17 and 24, 2023, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Workshop teachers
Ruth Miras-Ruiz (Lubna Shakti)
An art therapist, dance therapist, multidisciplinary artist, teacher, researcher, cultural manager and art historian, Ruth Miras is the Project Director at the Art for Life Association (ACAV) and president of the Iberian-American Art Therapy Forum (AFIA).
Hicham Malayo
An actor, multidisciplinary artist, intercultural mediator and artistic mediator, Hicham Malayo is President of the Association of Arab Artists in Spain (3-AE) and coordinator of intercultural mediation projects at the Art for Life Association (Asociación Arte para la vida).

This time, we will be examining the work of artists Mustapha Hafid and Milud Labied. This time around, we will be talking about the work of Fatima Hassan and Yassine Balbzioui.Through a selection of the art by these two Moroccans, an experiment will be proposed around the function of murals as part of the communication, expression and transformation of the community imaginary.
