Ahmed Soultan, one of the finest voices from Morocco in the “Afrobian” style (a mixture somewhere between African and Arab), has chosen the cities of Barcelona and Madrid to present an extended version of his latest album, “Music Has No Boundaries - Extended.”

His soul-inspired Afro-Arab style with hip-hop and traditional types of music, coupled with his ability to sing in several languages (Arabic, Amazigh, English and French), have allowed him to take part in several musical events both on and off the African continent, increasing his stature as an international performer.

In 2005, he was rocketed to success with his first album “Ya-Salam.” In 2012, after launching his single “My Jailer,” he won the European Music Awards for Africa on MTV, and in subsequent years he was nominated in different categories at the World Music Awards of 2014, the Morocco Music Awards of 2013 and 2014 and the All African Music Awards of 2016. His third album, “Music Has No Boundaries,” came in 2016, and three years later he is returning with an extended version of it, including seven new songs and vocals by the major artists who have inspired him throughout his career, such as Georges Clinton, Fred Wesley, Pee Wee Ellis, Femi Kuti, Tekitha (Clan Wu Tang).

Ahmed Soultan will be performing at the Sala Bóveda in Barcelona on October 10 (8:00 p.m.) and on October 12 at 9:00 pm. at Café Berlín in Madrid (tickets: 19.32 euros)
