Official opening of the Ágora Europa series 

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation, Josep Borrell, is taking part in the official opening of this series, which will be held on January 23 with the title of “The future of the Union in a globalized world.”

Taking part in the event with Borrell will be Augusto Santos Silva, Portugal’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. Presented and moderated by: María Rey, a journalist. 

Europe must be protected so that Europe can protect the people. Now is the time to build a new European sovereignty, a federal Europe that allows us to deal with major transnational challenges collectively and turn the Union into a true global role-player. Through the Ágora Europa series, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation is officially beginning a set of debates with important political and academic personages, open to the public, about the future of Europe and its relaunch, upon the start of the new political cycle to begin with the elections to the European Parliament on Ma 26, 2019.

The event is being held on Wednesday, January 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the headquarters of Casa de América (address: Plaza de Cibeles, s/n). Tickets are limited in number, so you are asked to confirm attendance by following this link.
