This international festival takes place one weekend per year in more than thirty cities around the world. For two days, the doors to dozens of public buildings, work spaces, residences, artists and architects studios that cannot normally be visited are opened. It is an event which is free of charge to the public, with the objective of promoting knowledge about the city and acknowledging the value of urban space. The city of Madrid is joining the event for the first time, with more than 100 buildings forming part of this first edition.

The Casa Árabe building can be visited on Saturday, September 26 from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and from 4:00-7:30 p.m., and on Sunday, September 27 from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Groups will consist of 15 people and may enter in order of arrival.
