Casa Árabe has organized this concert, with the title “From the Maghreb to the Arab Orient,” as part of the official opening of the exhibition “Chant Avedissian: A Levantine Heading East” in Cordoba.
Created by Brahim Dhour, a musician and music professor, Ensemble Méditerranéen is a group which has set down roots in Toulouse. Its repertoire offers a variety of different styles, including classical Arab, Arab-Andalusian and popular music from the Maghreb.
The members of the band are of different sensitivities and origins, and it is precisely in this diversity that the pleasure of playing together lies. With an open spirit, this orchestra attempts to share its music with the audience, thereby promoting the cultural bonds that link us together.
