Faluka is a music project which suggests approaching music from the Mediterranean as a way of better understanding our own musical heritage, exploring the rhythms and modes which bring us closer to the traditions of all the other Mediterranean countries. In its repertoire, it includes everything from Byzantine songs to traditional Greek and Turkish music, music of Sefarad and Al-Andalus, and pieces from the Maghreb and Mashreq.

In its concerts, Faluka offers us the results of its musical journey, presenting its own arrangements and adopting an educational perspective that helps the public grow more familiar with these types of music, as well as their lyrics, modes, cultural context and so forth.

Since it was created in 2014, Faluka has taken part in traditional Spanish music and dance festivals, such as: Danzas sin Fronteras (Toledo), Folkarria (Madrid), the What is Music Festival (Burgos), Almonaster Cimbrea (Huelva), the Ancient Music Festival of Frigiliana (Malaga) and the Three Cultures Festival in Murcia.
