Casa Árabe is offering courses with three different levels, starting in February. Registration begins on January 12.
Designed as a way to promote a cultivated, humanistic view of Arab dance, distanced from stereotypes and superficiality, Casa Árabe’s Middle Eastern dance courses attempt to increase knowledge about the techniques, music and cultural context in which Middle Eastern dance has developed.
The therapeutic benefits which are achieved through this form of dance include postural re-education, strengthening of the back, removing physical and emotional barriers and increasing self-esteem. The ambiance in class is meant to promote a friendly environment and creativity.
The courses will be given by Ignacio Velarde “Zuel”, a dancer with a long-standing professional career, director of the cultural magazine Añil Danza, holder of a degree in Dramatic Arts and with a strong background in stage arts education.

PRICES
Morning classes: 30 euros / month
Evening classes: 35 euros / month
SIGN UP
1) AT CASA ÁRABE
By handing in the registration form at Casa Árabe’s offices (at Calle Samuel de los Santos Gener) during their opening times from Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Payment in cash.
2) ONLINE
By sending the registration form to the e-mail address infocordoba@casaarabe.es along with a copy of the receipt of payment of one month’s classes. Form of payment: by bank transfer or deposit into Casa Árabe’s account: IBAN ES54 0065 0073 2400 3100 0026 (Barclays), indicating the following in the transaction purpose: first and last names + course code (example: Luz Díaz DANC INT C).
Important: The price for each month of classes must be paid by the seventh day of each month.
The number of students per class is limited, and the groups will be created in the strict order in which we receive applications. If the group is not formed for some reason, the full amount you have paid will be refunded.
