“On a Journey: Spanish Architecture in the Arab World” in Morocco

From April 03, 2014 until September 30, 2014

The exhibition can be seen at the five headquarters of the Instituto Cervantes in Morocco.

This exhibition, organized by Casa Árabe with the cooperation of the High Council of Professional Architects’ Associations of Spain (CSCAE) displays projects by Spanish architecture companies and studios completed in Arab countries. They can be viewed in detail by following this link. The result is an excellent example of successful work towards internationalization that makes an enormous contribution to consolidating and positioning the Spain Brand abroad.

Amongst the projects on display, you can see those of highly acknowledged architecture studios such as Nieto Sobejano, Fenwick Irribarren, Lamela, César Ruiz Larrea, Rafael de la Hoz and Campo Baeza, along with a another series of younger studios which have made a commitment to internationalization in the Arab world, as is the case with AGi Architects, Hadit and AV62. Also represented are some of Spain’s most important engineering firms, including Alatec, Sener, Idom and TYPSA, which has had a presence in the Arab world for several decades.
