Casa Árabe presents the latest show by Dani Pannullo as part of the “Madrid en Danza” dance festival

Casa Árabe is hosting the new performance by choreographer Dani Pannullo, who is, for the first time, bringing together part of the community of Arab origin dancers (b-boys) who reside in Madrid, united by the unstoppable strength of dance as of a way of life, art and free expression.

“Beyond the apparent fun which is usually associated with their way of dancing, these youths have a lot of things to say to us using their own language. In Haablk!, besides adapting their routines and their own choreographies, reinterpreted by our company, you will be able to see a few poems danced by the two members of the group Open Steps, Arab and Spanish poets, dancers and students, who help do away with our stereotypes and pre-conceived ideas. It is an honor for me to be presenting this work to you once again at my beloved Casa Árabe, whose current headquarters we helped officially open back in the day with one of our shows. It is a pleasure to be re-encountering Casa Árabe as part of this amazing event, the Madrid International Dance Festival.”
