Jordan Receives the Exhibition “From Qurtuba to Córdoba”

From June 10, 2014 until September 09, 2014

From June 10 through September 9, the exhibition can be seen in the exhibition room at the Cervantes Institute in Amman.

This photography exhibition produced by Casa Árabe continues to travel throughout the Arab countries, on this occasion thanks to the support of the Cervantes Institute and the Embassy of Spain in Amman.

The exhibition is made up of a selection of fifty photographs from the photographic competition “From Qurtuba to Córdoba,” held by Casa Árabe with the goal of rediscovering and finding new appreciation of the local heritage related with the Al-Andalus period through the images. It is a unique opportunity which allows the public to view the marks left behind on the city of Cordoba by its Arab and Islamic legacy.

This exhibition is on tour through the Middle East, having already been shown in Doha, Riyadh and Jerusalem.
