“On a Journey: Spanish Architecture in the Arab World” presents the best projects by Spanish companies and studios in Arab countries.

As of Tuesday, January 20 and until February 1, Zaragoza will be hosting the exhibition “On a Journey: Spanish Architecture in the Arab World.” This exhibition, organized by Casa Árabe, with the cooperation of the Superior Council of Architects of Spain (CSCAE), is displaying projects by Spanish architecture firms and studios carried out in Arab countries.(follow this link for full details). It is the result of a fine example of successful work towards internationalization that makes a huge contribution to positioning and strengthening the Spain Brand abroad.

The exhibition has traveled throughout many different Arab countries, where it has been very well-received. Last year it was shown in Lebanon, Morocco, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan, and it will soon be traveling to Palestine.

Amongst those shown in this exhibition, it will be possible to view projects by well-known architectural studios such as Nieto Sobejano, Fenwick Irribarren, Lamela, César Ruiz Larrea, Rafael de la Hoz and Campo Baeza, alongside another series of newer studios which have committed to internationalization in the Arab world, including AGi Architects, Hadit and AV62. Also represented are some of the most important Spanish engineering firms: Alatec, Sener, Idom and TYPSA, all of which have had a presence in the Arab world for several decades.
