Casa Árabe and the publishing firm Digital Reasons have organized the presentation of this book, a work by Professor Juan Martos Quesada, in Madrid on April 29.

Participating in the presentation along with the author will be Francisco Ruiz Girela, an Arabist. The presentation will be presented by Karim Hauser, Casa Árabe’s Coordinator of International Relations.

This book was designed for people with an intellectual curiosity who want to learn about and interpret the keys to the Islamic world at present. By doing this, one can use greater knowledge and a more refined critical sense to better process the immense range of varied information put out by today’s media on Islam and Muslims, in a world where the “post-truth,” prejudice and information manipulation are commonplace trends. The author resolved to follow two basic principles in writing the book: objectivity and understanding.
