A conversation with French-Lebanese actress and author Darina al-Joundi

Darina al-Joundi was born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1968 and now lives in Paris. An actress since the age of eight, she has worked in movies, theater and television, having written and directed short-subject films.  The theatrical monologue The Day Nina Simone Stopped Singing, which she has performed, gave rise to this book, a revelation at the Avignon Festival in 2007, and was put on in several European cities.

Karim Hauser Askalani, who is responsible for the Governance Area, will be accompanying the author.
