On Monday, February 11, Casa Árabe is hosting the pre-premiere of the latest film by Lebanese actress and director Nadine Labaki. The film will be coming out in commercial cinemas on Friday, February 15. Buy your ticket now and enjoy the movie before anyone else!

Winner of the Cannes Festival Jury Award, Capernaum is the  new movie by Nadine Labaki which tells the story of Zain, an intelligent, courageous 12-year-old boy  who survives the dangers of the city because of his street smarts. Running away from his parents, he decides to turn to the justice system to fight for his rights and sue his parents for the “crime” of having brought him into this world.

Oscar nominee Nadine Labaki brings us a contemporary fable which focuses on a boy who rebels against the life he has been forced to live.

Starring: Kawthar Al Haddad, Boluwatife Treasure Bankole, Nadine Labaki, Zain al Rafeea, Yordanos Shiferaw and Fadi Yousef.
