You can now sign up to take part in this activity, which will be given on November 18 by SextoMario. Those taking part will get to learn about the clothing that was worn by our ancestors in Al-Andalus.

Those attending will use a doll placed on a base that is 9 cm high to reproduce a typical outfit from Al-Andalus, which they can choose from among the different designs they are shown, displaying the variety of the garments that were used at the time, especially during the era of the caliphs.

Turbans, long tunics, veils, and more. This is a fun way to learn about fashion in the tenth century.

It is a workshop open to both children and adults who want to spend an entertaining time learning about our history in a different way.

All of the materials required for the activity will be provided by the organization, so those attending just have to enjoy and learn from the workshop.

SextoMario has a long track record working with Cordoba’s culture, education and heritage. It has the paramount goal of teaching history in a fun and entertaining way, but without failing to provide the basic contents that make up our values and culture, through an extensive catalogue of educational workshops and games.

Our company is made up of a team of professionals with advanced degrees in Art History, History and Archeology who follow the strictest criteria when explaining history and other knowledge in all of the activities we hold, our main clients being museums, archeological sites, cultural entities and schools.

Our workshops, which are constantly undergoing growth and new developments, strengthen skills such as attention, memory, psycho-motor abilities and coordination, with an essentially educational focus in which those attending learn about various aspects of our past, while also reflecting upon the present we are now living.
