MADRID
During the Arab Souk of 2015, visitors enjoyed the gourmet cuisine typical of the participating Arab countries, purchased typical handicrafts and enjoyed various forms of cultural expression (music, dance, shows, etc.) for the purpose of charity, because the funds raised during the event will be used for the Association of Families and Friends of Children with Neuroblastoma (NEN) and the “Pan y Peces” Foundation, which provides basic foods to families without resources.

Moreover, a raffle will be held with gifts including trips to one of the organizing countries. The raffle tickets cost €2 and may be purchased at the souk itself, which is taking place at the Hotel Intercontinental (Paseo de la Castellana, 49), from 12:00-7:00 p.m. Entrance tickets cost €3 (on sale on the day of the event)

The Association of Arab Diplomat Ladies in Spain was founded by a notable group of Arab ambassadors’ wives in Madrid in 2007, with the objective of providing a meeting point for these diplomats, wives of Arab diplomats and friends of the Association. Its goal is to strengthen the close relationship and understanding between the Arab and Spanish cultures, as well as working together to support non-profit organizations in Spain and the Arab world.
