“We are living through an invisible pandemic war. If you think about Syria or Yemen, and so many civilians from countries at war, it is a truly dramatic experience. Today we all feel like we have been expelled from our own everyday lives. Forced exodus, as if your own homeland were casting you out, migrations, fleeing as if the hegira were occurring again, all attempt to mark a new calendar for this crazed world. Watching as our own well-being is subjected to a sort of expulsion from our daily freedoms in household confinement, filled with images of the world online, the local news, photos, faces, death and millions of human beings as the main characters. We had to find an imaginary space on stage to tell this story, and we decided it should be a prison. Would we be able to convey all of this physically in such a way that the full rage, pain and frustration being produced are properly expressed?”

The show will be held on December 12 at 12:00 p.m. inside Casa Árabe’s Madrid Auditorium. To attend, you must sign up in advance using this form.
