"Introduction to the Arab Cinemas" Course
From October 24, 2011 until November 28, 2011
Casa Árabe organizes this course coordinated by Alberto Elena. It will be a four session season, each of which will be based on a showing and a lecture by an expert.
Those sessions, organized from 7th to 28th of November in collaboration with the University of Cordoba, will cover the Egyptian cinema Golden Age; Exiles, Migrations, Diaspora; Genre Prospects and Documentary Look.
Place: Casa Árabe’s Auditorium in Cordoba (c/ Samuel de los Santos Gener, 9 –corner c/Velázquez Bosco with Plaza de la Agrupación de las Cofradías).
Time: From 17.00 to 21.00. Films will be shown in original version with Spanish, French or English subtitles.
