Egyptian artist Ahmed Keshta is offering two workshops in Cordoba for children and adults. You may register until October 25
Casa Árabe is offering two workshops (one for children and another for adults), given by Egyptian artist Ahmed Keshta, at which those participating can learn to make their own “migrating kite.” Designed on the basis of geometric motifs, using hangers as a “raw material,” people might see them as either Arab decorations used on houses and buildings during Ramadan or as Christmas ornaments.
The activity for children will take place on Monday, October 26 from 4:30-7:00 p.m.
For adults, it will be held on Tuesday, October 27, also from 4:30-7:00 p.m.
The workshop is free of charge, and spaces are limited to 15 participants per course. The required materials will be provided by Casa Árabe. Those attending may keep the pieces they make once the course is over.
This activity will bring the temporary exhibition “Migrating Kites” to a close.
