4th Symposium of Human Rights in the Mediterranean

Casa Árabe, Pablo Iglesias Foundation, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (Germany) and Fondation Jean Jaurès (France) organize this meeting titled "New Information and Communication Technologies, new instruments for democracy in the Arab countries?"
For two days, the discussion will focus on how civil societies, human rights defense movements and political organizations use new information and communication technologies within the Arab countries, both in daily life activities and in those moments of major social and political mobilization.
Experts on the matter and actors from different social movements from Arab countries will take part in the debate.
Those two days will be March 30st and 31st at Granada Euroarab Foundation for Higher Studies (c/San Jerónimo, 27); Wednesday 30th, from 16.30 to 21.00 and Thursday 31st, from 9.30 to 14.00 and from 16.00 to 20.00.
