On Friday, June 20, the Ibn Battuta Foundation is organizing this comprehensive day of training at Casa Árabe’s headquarters in Madrid. It is intended for professionals in the field of social work. If you fit this definition, please sign up. You don’t want to miss it.
The conference seeks to create a space for thought and skill-building about the reality of unaccompanied migrant minors from a comprehensive perspective: legal, psychosocial and cultural.
OBJECTIVES
· Addressing the main challenges in the care and protection of unaccompanied minors from a rights-based approach.
· Providing professionals with legal and psychosocial tools for effective, humanized interventions. · Fostering coordination between social, legal and community role-players involved in the accompaniment of such minors.
· Increasing awareness of good practices and experiences in a wide range of contexts.
INTENDED FOR:
Social workers, educators, psychologists, legal experts, technicians from social entities, migrant intake workers, intercultural mediators and other profiles linked to the field of social intervention.
