Al-Andalus interpretations and its meaning to Spain

Lecture by Eduardo Manzano, Research Professor in Medieval History and Director of the Humanities Centre of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).

This Tribune will be held on the 1st December and will tackle how Al-Andalus has been interpreted by Historiography, how that political, social and cultural experience has been integrated or rejected in the construction of the idea of Spain and which role it plays in present historical narrative.
