Arab Cinema in Seville

The film Recycle, by Mahmoud Al Massad (Jordan, Germany, Holland and the United States, 2007, 80 min.), which stands as part of Casa Árabe’s multimedia centre archive, will be shown on Tuesday 19th of July in Seville, included in a Jordan cinema season organized by the Three Cultures Foundation (Fundación Tres Culturas).

Through the portrait of the main character, cousin of the known terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, this documentary offers a perspective on the daily life in the Jordan village of al-Zarqa and brings about the worries and daily routines of the main character and its closest entourage, within the post 9/11 world context.

Showing will take place at 20.30 at the Three Cultures Foundation (Fundación Tres Culturas) in Seville (c/ Max Planck, 2). Original version film with subtitles in Spanish. Free entrance, limited by space availability.
