On Wednesday December 1st in Madrid, Casa Árabe presents Arab video-art compilations produced with the title Resistance[s] by the Lowave brand with Silke Schmickl and Christine Sehnaoui.
This presentation takes place within the framework of the Festival MADATAC 2010 (Festival of Contemporary Audio-Visual Arts in Madrid).
The release will include the presence of Casa Árabe's General Director, Gema Martín Muñoz, the curator, Silke Schmickl, the Algerian artist Zoulikha Bouabdellah, and the MADATAC director, Iury Lech.
After the presentation, there will be a show of selected video pieces taken from the three series of Resistance[s] compilations published until now.
The event will take place at 19.30h at Casa Árabe's Auditorium in Madrid (c/ Alcalá, 62). Free entrance.
