A new activity put on by the Casas Network Forum
On October 27, 2015, an encounter was held at the Casa América headquarters in Madrid with Yukiya Amano, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), within the framework of the Casas Network Forum. The event was presented and moderated by José Manuel Sanz, director of the EFE International News Agency.
Taking part in the event were Yukiya Amano, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), José Manuel Soria, Spain’s Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism, and Fernando Martí Scharfhausen, President of the Nuclear Security Council.

Casas Network Forum
On February 13, 2015, the directors of the six Casas for public diplomacy (Casa de América, Casa Árabe, Casa África, Casa Asia, Casa Mediterráneo and Casa Sefarad-Israel) signed a protocol to create the Casas Network Forum. The High Representative of the European Union, Federica Mogherini, was the first to take part in this forum, on February 16.
Taking part in the event were Yukiya Amano, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), José Manuel Soria, Spain’s Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism, and Fernando Martí Scharfhausen, President of the Nuclear Security Council.
