The Syrian poet Maram al-Masri, a very special voice among the modern Arab poetry scene will launch on April 11th in Murcia and on the 12th in Madrid her latest piece of work and will follow suit with the reading of some of her texts in both Arabic and Spanish.
Al-Masri, according to the poet Adonis words has “the passion of a daily style, simple, warm, uncontrollable, which is almost to hit on her body, but that at the same time almost stops at the language boundary”.
On April 11th, the launching will take place at the Hemiciclo of the Letters Faculty of the University of Murcia (Campus de la Merced. C/ Santo cristo, 1) at 19.00 and on April 12th, at the Casa Árabe’s Auditorium in Madrid (c/ Alcalá, 62) at 19.30. Both events have free entrance, limited by space availability.
