Canadian Arabs: art in movement

Casa Árabe organizes in Madrid a speech with the Arab-Canadians professors May Telmissany, writer and professor at the University of Ottawa; Walid el-Khachab, professor at York University and the University of Ottawa; and Malek Khouri, associated professor at the American University in Cairo and at the University of Calgary.

The three of them will investigate Art subject within the Arab Diaspora in Canada, which includes literature, visual arts and cinema. The tribune will end with  Eman Haram, Palestinian-Canadian photographer, intervention presenting the audiovisual Diary of an amnesic, where the author explores memory hidden areas.

The speech will take place on Tuesday 25th October, at Casa Árabe’s Auditorium in Madrid (c/Alcalá, 62) at 19.30, free entrance.
