Casa Árabe is ushering in some fresh new comedy and music performances to fill Madrid’s summer nights through its “Casa Árabe’s Secret Garden” program. From June 28 to July 20, we have planned evenings for you every Friday and Saturday. Tickets are on sale now.
From June 28 to July 20, locals and visitors alike will be able to enjoy the summer nights next to the Retiro Park with the refreshing program of “Casa Árabe’s Secret Garden,” which the institution is organizing for the second year in a row at its open-air venue.
Thus, on Friday evenings, Casa Árabe proposes starting the weekend in good humor with performances in stand-up comedy by monologue comedians Irene Francolí and David Puerto (Friday, June 28); Jorge Yorya and Camen Romero (Friday, July 5); Pablo Larán and Laura del Val (Friday, July 12), and ending with Raquel Hervás and Yunez Chaib on Friday, July 19.
Saturdays will be reserved for music and beats from other latitudes, getting us jump in joy with the live performance by the Madrid artist Alice Wonder (Saturday, June 29); the Palestinians “shamstep” rythms by the group 47 Soul (Saturday, July 6); the cult band from the indie scene Rufus T. Firefly (Saturday, July 13) and, last of all, the soul-filled vocals of the most street-smart urban singer Dollar Selmouni taking place on Saturday, July 20.
In addition, while enjoying the comedy and concerts, attendees will be able to taste the cuisine and cocktails at the terrace put in place within Casa Árabe’s garden, managed this year by La Francachela.
