Casa Árabe at Madrid’s Eighteenth Architecture Week

For yet another year, Casa Árabe is opening up the building where its headquarters is located as part of this initiative, which will be held from October 1 to 10. PLACES ARE SOLD OUT.

With this latest edition of Architecture Week, organized by Madrid’s Association of Architects and the COAM Architecture Foundation, with the cooperation of the Municipal Government of Madrid and Regional Government of Madrid, the goal is to continue providing a closer look at architecture and the development of the city of the future to society as a whole and to increase awareness about the valuable architectural heritage which makes Madrid one of the role models amongst capital cities working in this field around the world.

Italy is the guest country at this edition, with the participation of the Italian Embassy and the Italian Institute of Culture in Madrid. From 1 to 10 October, the city will host a series of exhibitions, a monographic dedicated to the Spanish architect Julio Cano Lasso and another to the Olivetti universe -in reference to the Italian physicist, engineer and businessman Camillo Olivetti- and the industrial city of Ivrea, as well as events and conferences, visits to buildings and routes of great architectural interest and value, children's activities and the Architects' Design Market (Pop Arq Store).

As part of this initiative, Casa Árabe has organized guided tours of its Neo-Mudéjar building,  to be given by experts on architecture, on Monday, October 4, with different tour times, including 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
