Created in the year 2000 by Palestinian composer Ramzi Aburedwan, the group Dal’ouna is named after a form of festive Palestinian music and is a reference to its everyday life and popular customs. The group’s repertoire also drinks from classical music and Palestinian and Arab folklore, from Egypt to the music of Al-Andalus, and throughout the Middle East.

During the concert by Dal’ouna, presented by Casa Árabe, we will be able to enjoy the sound of common Arab musical instruments, such as the bouzouk, the Arabic oud and Eastern percussion instruments, accompanied by the viola and accordion. All will be directed by the charismatic Ramzi Aburedwan, a Palestinian musician whose childhood was spent at the Al Amari refugee camp in Ramallah. He has implemented musical initiatives of great depth, including the Al Kamandjati Association, aimed at providing musical education to Palestinian children.
