Casa Árabe is taking part in the fortieth Cordoba Guitar Festival with a performance by this Middle Eastern and Mediterranean music group. It will be taking place at the Góngora Theater in this Andalusian city on Sunday, July 11. Tickets are now being sold online.

This project came about as a result of the artistic co-existence of different sensitivities: Spanish musicians who have lived in Arab countries; Arabs and Persians living in Spain. From there arose a concern for sharing their experiences within a contemporary context. The outcome is this wide range of music. A multicolor repertoire of their own compositions, inspired by the classical and folklore musical heritage of the Mediterranean and Middle East, especially Arabic and Persian music. All of this came about through a contemporary vision with influences of jazz and other trends in modern music from the West.

Pablo Hernández Ramos. Alto Saxophone / Soprano
Kaveh Sarvarian, Ney, Flute, Tombak, Vocals
