Casa Árabe is joining the “Ágora Ciudadana” program as part of the “International Forum for Palestinian Culture” by taking part in this event, which will be held at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid  on Wednesday, July 15. Please register to attend. 

The event, devoted to cultural cooperation initiatives with Palestine, will feature the participation of: 

- Karim Hauser, Coordinator of Culture and International Relations at Casa Árabe 
- Haizam Amirah Fernández, Executive Director of the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies (CEARC)
- Ana María Sánchez Salcedo, specialist in the Directorate of Cultural and Scientific Relations—Subdirectorate of Cooperation and Cultural Action for Sustainable Development at the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID)
- Laura Pérez, “Barcelona Districte 11, Cities of Palestine” program at the Barcelona City Council.
- Rosario Sandoval, Councilor for Education, Children and Youth. This project is held in conjunction with the Lajee Center / Rebel Circus School of the Municipal Government of Rivas-Vaciamadrid.

The round table will be moderated by Moussa Bourekba, a principal researcher at CIDOB (Barcelona Center for International Affairs).

The workshop has been organized as part of the events in Ágora Ciudadana, a space for the people which is open to the public, forming part of the “International Forum for Palestinian Culture,” organized by the Ministries of Culture of Spain and Palestine in Madrid from July 14 to 16.
