Darbuka Workshop

Casa Árabe organizes a workshop to learn how to play darbuka, from March 19th to 21st, in Cordoba
The darbuka is a percussion instrument played all around the Arab world –known also as derbake, doumbek or tabla- that allows performing a great variety of typical Arab music rhythms.
The workshop is open to everyone interested and will be taught by the musician Talek al-Halabi of Syrian origins.
The workshop will take place from 18.00 to 21.00 and it is mandatory to be registered beforehand. Registration from 1st March on, by telephone (957 49 83 53) or via E-Mail (instituto@casaarabe-ieam.es).
