Debate over Institution Reform

On Tuesday, May 27, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel García Margallo, will preside over the opening session of this series of round table discussions.

The series of talks, titled “Debate over Institution Reform,” organized by the Spanish Transition Foundation and the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo (UIMP), will be officially opened at 9:00 a.m., in an event presided over by José Manuel García-Margallo y Marfil, the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. It will also include the intervention of Eduardo López Busquets, the General Director of Casa Árabe; José Luis de Zavala Richi, President of the Spanish Transition Foundation, and Rodrigo Martínez-Val, the Assistant Rector for Innovation and Project Development at the UIMP.

After this opening event, a round table discussion will be held on “Economics and Society from 1975 to 2014,” with the participation of Fernando Eguidazu, the General Director of International Economic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MAEC), and Bernabé Sarabia, a sociology professor. The discussion will be moderated by Luis María Linde, Governor of the Bank of Spain.
