Economics and Business Bulletin nº 33 in Arabic
From February 12, 2013 until February 25, 2013
The thirty-third issue of the Casa Árabe Economics and Business Bulletin has now been published in Arabic. It includes summaries of the business seminars and meetings organized by Casa Árabe and the Embassies of Algeria and Tunisia this fall.
In each of these two specials, the conditions offered to foreign investors are analyzed, as well as the sectors with the greatest potential for Spanish companies. In the case of Algeria, there is a review of the potential offered by new infrastructure development plans and the improvement of its public companies’ industrial processes. This special edition has been complemented with an interview of Hassiba Mokraoui, Director General of the National Mediation and Real Estate Regulation Agency (ANIREF).
The Bulletin includes an article by Pedro Clarós and Alejandro Carballo of the international arbitration group at the law firm Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira, in which the conditions offered by Spain as an investment hub between Arab countries and Latin America are analyzed. Spain, due to its special ties with both regions, may act as a vehicle for channeling investments between these two regions, thereby overcoming obstacles such as the lack of mutual knowledge.
