This issue contains information on the presentation of the study titled New Arab Capital: Main role-players and opportunities for Spanish companies, completed by Jacinto Soler and published by Casa Árabe, in which the opportunities for cooperation between new Arab capital and Spanish companies were analyzed.
This issue also contains an article by José Ignacio García Muniozguren, director of the law offices of Garrigues in Casablanca and Tangier, titled Morocco: Notes on Business Law, which deals with the nature of the business law applied in Morocco and the implications held by the decisions of Spanish companies doing business in that market.
Likewise, a special section discusses the meeting organized at Casa Árabe on April 4, 2013 with a delegation of the Regional Government of Iraqi Kurdistan (GRK), headed by its Assistant Prime Minister, Imad Ahmed Sayfour, including an interview with the GRK’s Minister of Planning, Ali Sindi.
In the Europe section is a summary of the most important topics discussed at the Second Mediterranean Conference on Arbitration and Mediation, organized by the European Arbitration Association (AEADE) and the Spanish-Moroccan Forum of Legal Specialists, which took place on March 20 at the Casa Árabe headquarters in Madrid.
