The 31st issue of this Bulletin analyzes the economic agendas of the Islamist parties of the North of Africa, a topic which, among other matters, was dealt with during the meeting organized by the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) in July.
. In a special article, Karim Hauser Askalani, from Casa Árabe, explains the first economic measures that the new Egyptian president has put into force. In addition, inside the report’s section, the analysis on Arab countries carried out by the World Investment Report 2012: Towards a New Generation of Investment Policies, published by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) is highlighted, and there are also other relevant documents on Arab news and economic approaches as well as on Spain’s foreign policy regarding these countries.
This issue also compiles the signature of the collaboration agreement between Casa Árabe and the Chambers of Commerce, Industry & Services of Morocco in Spain (CCISME by its Spanish acronym), which is aimed to contribute to the completion of activities to promote bilateral business relations.
