The Gulf Receives the Architecture Exhibition “On a Journey”
From June 12, 2014 until June 18, 2014
This exhibition on Spanish architecture in the Arab world can be seen as of June 12 in Doha, Qatar.
The exhibition has been organized by Casa Árabe, with the cooperation of the High Council of the Architects’ Associations of Spain (CSCAE), thanks to the support of the Embassy of Spain in that country and the cooperation of the Spanish company SENER.
This exhibition makes it possible to view projects by Spanish companies and architecture studios carried out in Arab countries, which can be seen in detail by following the link. The result is a fine example of the successful work towards internationalization that is contributing to consolidating the Spain Brand and positioning it abroad.
Among the projects on display are those by well-known architecture studios such as Nieto Sobejano, Fenwick Irribarren, Lamela, César Ruiz Larrea, Rafael de la Hoz and Campo Baeza, along with another series of younger studios which have made a commitment to internationalization in the Arab world, as is the case with AGi Architects, Hadit and AV62. Also represented are some of the most important Spanish engineering firms, including Alatec, Sener, Idom and TYPSA, which have had a presence in the Arab world for several decades.
