Casa Árabe exhibition halls (at Calle Samuel de los Santos Gener, 9). Mondays through Fridays, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. Closed on weekends and holidays. Free entry until the event’s capacity is reached.

As of March 5, at its headquarters in Cordoba, Casa Árabe will be hosting the exhibition “Amazigh Spaces: ⵉⴽⴰⵍⵍⵏ ⵏ ⵉⵎⴰⵣⵉⵖⵏ,” a photographic exhibition of natural landscapes in Morocco. Through these images, visitors will get the chance to go on a journey through the history of North Africa and the culture of the Berbers/Amazighs.

In addition, for display in Cordoba, the exhibition features photographs and text highlighting the Berber population in Al-Andalus Cordoba.

The content linked to the photographs was created by members of the teams at TRAMAGHIS and DIANA. It addresses various topics related to the images to which they are linked: crops, traditional water management, toponymy, etc. These can be accessed via QR codes, with the information available in Spanish, French and English.

A series of conferences with the same name will be held to coincide with the exhibition. You can check out the schedule here.

Both scientific information sharing and public information activities have resulted from the coordinated research project MAGNA II: “Transits and transformations in the Maghreb space and population” (TRAMAGHIS. PID2021-122872NB-C21 and DIANA. PID2021-122872NB-C22), funded by MICIN/AEI/13039/501100011033 and FEDER. A Way to Make Europe
