The exhibition Freedom and innovation. Arab contemporany calligraphy shows the work of five Arab modern calligraphers,acclaimed artists to the mastery of calligraphy.
This artists are well known in the Arab world as well as in aninternational sphere due to the artistic beautyof their innovations.José Miguel Puerta Vílchez, permanent lecturer from the Arts HistoryDepartment of the University of Granada and specialist in the art ofArab calligraphy.
Place: Casa Árabe's exhibition hall in Madrid (c/ Alcalá, 62).
The exhibition will be open Monday to Saturday between 11.00 to 20.00; and Sundays and public holidays between 11.00 to 15.00. Free admission.
