Expectations for Democracy within the Arab World

On September 21st, Casa Árabe hosts the conference Expectations for Democracy within the Arab World by Khair El Din Hasib, Director General of the Centre for Arab Unity Studies in Beirut.

A native of Iraq, Hasib holds a MS in Economics from the London School of Economics and a PhD from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. He has served and developed an important role in various organizations which promote democracy and Human Rights, such as the National Arab Congress, Arab Organization on Human Rights and the Anti-Corruption Arab Organization.

Gema Martín Muñoz, Casa Árabe’s General Director, will introduce the Tribune which will take place at the institution’s auditorium in Madrid.
